So right now the Breed Type shows are judged 100% on appearance and features.
What if, once a Lepitaur "champs" (gets a certain amount of points) in those shows, it can move on to competitions based on "skill" and luck.
So maybe we use the dice to help determine the score.
Thoughts?

I like the ability to move up from one type of show to the next after you accrue a certain amount of points. But I don't know if I'd want it to be based so much on luck as I'd prefer that the judge became pickier. So in a "Beginner" show, its actually more based on luck, since the judge doesn't especially care about characteristics and just about anyone can win there to get some points rolling. Then an "Intermediate" show, there would be a couple specific traits looked for, but still not terribly strict. Then in "Advanced" the judge would have very specific standards for a pet. Only the better breeders would be able to win this show. And finally "Champion" shows would only be won by top show breeders. I think that would be fun! It creates a cool challenge! :3

The beginning shows are strict. Well, I suppose strictness is up to the judge, but there is no way to be stricter with the current format.
The idea of these advanced shows would be they would be partially judged on appearance, but then the Lepitaurs would have to perform and how well they do that would be decided by dice. Much like Vickie's original shows on the Venitell forum.

Interesting! Like a table top, role play game? I've never done that before. ^^' However, what I was saying was that beginner shows should be made less strict so that beginner breeders could enter them and get some points, but more advanced shows could only be entered by the best show breeders. But it doesn't really matter to me in the end since I don't usually show. XD I might if there was more of a challenge to it, though. ^^'

It really isn't that hard to get Lepitaurs that will place in these shows, though... I don't see a need to make the beginning any less strict. The idea is based on real life dog and cat shows, based off a standard. The idea is the ones that do well in the shows should be bred and improved upon in the next generation. No Lepitaur is expected to be 100% perfect.
Just check the previously judged shows. The winners are the best of the lot, but still don't have to fit the standard perfectly.
